Two stretches of Napa River restoration totaling almost a mile in the heart of Napa Valley wine country will receive vegetative finishing touches in coming months as the project nears its end. About 18,000 native trees, plants and shrubs are to be planted. Types include California buckeye, big leaf maple, coyote bush, western spice, Oregon ash, white alder and Santa Barbara sedge.
