Friends of the Napa River is excited to learn that Congressman Mike Thompson was able to secure the $1.8 million necessary to restore the originally envisioned landscaping for the project. Friends has actively worked with the Flood Control District and the City of Napa to design this space as a community park usable for entertainment and trail access to the river, with an aesthetically pleasing interface to the surrounding businesses and properties.
